Hi, I have just put a Google Map on a website I'm currently building, is it possible that when you put a link in the pop info box you can make it open up in a new window when clicked ?

Is see Google maps shows - edit html but I can't see anywhere to change it to open in a new wiindow.

This is all it shows:

<div dir="ltr">The Dubai Autodrome is the region's first fully integrated motorsports facility.<br><br><a style="font-weight:bold;color:rgb(255, 0, 0)" href="http://www.dubaiautodrome.com">more info</a></div>

Any help would be great :tu:

Thanks

I don't have the site up any longer - But think I've been through this in the past ~

Change :
<div dir="ltr">The Dubai Autodrome is the region's first fully integrated motorsports facility.<br><br><a style="font-weight:bold;color:rgb(255, 0, 0)" href="http://www.dubaiautodrome.com">more info</a></div>

to :

<div dir="ltr">The Dubai Autodrome is the region's first fully integrated motorsports facility.<br><br><a target="_blank" style="font-weight:bold;color:rgb(255, 0, 0)" href="http://www.dubaiautodrome.com">more info</a></div>

I "Think" - lol ... Un-tested

You clear your cache and try again? Maybe it's the placement of the target="_blank"?

How about:

<div dir="ltr">The Dubai Autodrome is the region's first fully integrated motorsports facility.<br><br><a href="http://www.dubaiautodrome.com" target="_blank" style="font-weight:bold;color:rgb(255, 0, 0)">more info</a></div>

yeah, I've cleared the cache a few times, could it be that my website is not actually up on the web yet ?

I'm just doing it in dreamweaver then checking it in the browser.

That third one does the same (as far as I can see)

I'm haven't used dreamweaver. Are you trying this within the dreamweaver application?

Can you save the project as html and test in IE, Firefox, Safari, etc (whatever browser you use)?

No, I was pasting the codes into my maps, when the info box pops up, click edit html and then pasting what you suggested.

I am using dreamweaver/firefox to view it as its not up on the web yet, usually if I ad another placemark it still shows it so I would imagine the same would be true if the code is correct.

Sorry, I'm not very good at coding, I just use a wysiwyg programme to design/build.

I'm tempted to upload it to see if that makes a difference.
