Google Homepage!

Hi,

I can't believe I'm the first on to mention this here but Google has changed their homepage! In the top right hand corner it now says "Personalized Home | Sign in"

Their turning it into something similar to Yahoo's Homepage.

I wonder if people are going to be using this? Good or bad move by Google?

I see, I don't even really like it because it's not even that organzied all the sections are all over the place.

It just appeared on the Homepage today and if I never knew of it I'm sure a lot of other NamePros members didn't either.

I have checked what all you can do...
but then removed everything...

The Google Homepage (empty) should remain The Google Homepage IMHO

yeah i dont think they should add anything to the home page. People like it the way it is, and changing the look of it is a very bad idea. If they stretch it too far, they might end up becoming like yahoo ... everything for everyone

I agree plus it just looks horrible but some of the news is pretty interesting.

This has been out for a while now. I havent used it though. They should add anything to the home page, just let it be simple.

No, it is if you are logged on to any google account . So, yea, a gmail account is a google account :P

I like the new features. It lets you customize your homepage and add any kind of feeds or sections you want.

If you would like to add NamePros' Domain Industry News to your Google page (it looks mighty fine there), click "Add Content" -> "Create a section" and put this URL in:

http://namepros.com/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=5

Also, when i go google.com, it redirected me to google.com.sg

That has been around a while, but that is new on the homepage, I set it up once, but yeah ive never been back its not that great :D
