I have google adsense running on a number of websites however every now and then it just disappears off of the site.

Has anybody else had this problem. I am new to the google adsense program but have noticed this over the past month or so. I have checked the code and it all seems fine - just one moment its there - the next it isn't and it stays off for some time.

lol it happen to us the other day and I went crazy looking at the code and changing it and all that for nothing. Then a few hours later it came back.

Maybe it has to do with there adsense servers. But at lease your not alone :)

turnkey - thanks for letting me know that other people have spent an hour or two ripping apart the code only to find that that had nothing to do with it.

I wonder if there is anyway to measure adsense downtime - i can't seem to find anything about it on their site.

Ah well - at least I'm not alone.

D-: ok major and I mean MAJOR embarrasment here on my part folks.

I practice safe surf - as my mother used to tell me to, and it would seem that I hadn't added the sites to my Trusted Sites zone. On my internet zone in my security settings I have disabled javascript.

Now as we all know, Google Adsense requires that javascript be switched on. Thus, as I had mine switched off and had forgotten to move the sites to Trusted status, no adsense whenever I surfed along to them.

DOH!
