Either that, Or they are going to have a humongous bankruptcy coming up, In my opinion, they have made some, not so good investments, in the past couple of years, I figure Google will either be the biggest thing in internet history, Or they will land on their heads, and be forced into bankruptcy, because of their investments, Time will tell.

If Microsoft buys over Google, and continue to make losses, soon even Microsoft will find themselves in a big problem heading for bankruptcy, and Yahoo might come in to help, but they too are dragged down along into the problem, and thats the end of the internet world folks.

All the Internet companies face bankruptcy.

In all honesty some of this could be Google trying to lower tax bills etc. Although they have been on a huge spending spree the money spent on most is insignificant when compared to Google's value and finances.
