Hey Name Pros people! I'm new.

But anyways, I want to register a Domain Name and Hosting. I don't know what good places there are to regisiter. I'm also in Canada, so when you convert the prices for the Domain Name Registration and Hosting, there are a well balanced price. I was about to sign up with Star-Twist but they got switched to Netrillium.

So if you have any good recommendation, that would be the best! Thank you so much!

I have a reseller hosting account and I could probably host you, but I don't run a company or anything, its just a personal one so I would be able to give you live support or anything, but if you are interested tell me what kind of package you would want and I will work out a price? :)

Welcome to NamePros.

I also must suggest Divine-Hosting.net because I own it. The server we had was suspended due to my friend not showing up to take my payment and pay for it, so we are getting a new pentium 4 server this weekend. Most "teen" companies are usually on a celeron which does not take well to many things (including a very active message board)

Anyways, if you are interested PM me and I will keep you updated as to when the server will be up :)

Bashing celerons... incredible. Actually Pentium 3's get the most per cycle. Just thought you should know. Their architecture makes them more efficient than pentium 4s. Just because the number is biggest, dont think it is always better. Also, servers increasingly depend on large amounts of ram, not processor power. But every aspect of a server is important, because it is only as good as the weakest link.

my hosting recommendation: www.dathorn.com. You dont even need tech support with them. I have not had any trouble/downtime in the month I have been with them. I think others who have been with them longer would also agree. And for that price? I am drooling over it.... :)

I wasn't bashing celerons.. I was just saying that they can't take heavy loads.. I host about 3-4 XMB forums so I can't use a celeron anymore.
