They mean that they are worth the money you paid to register them.

Ryan the names don't mean anything. They have no history, you made them up. For them to be worth anything you would have to develop them by spending a lot of time and or money. Have some traffic going to them etc. Do you think the word google was worth any more than the cost of registration on the day it was registered?

If I can make a suggestion. Stop registering names. If you are convinced you want to be a domainer, spend some time here and on other forums learning, before you waste any more money. I wish someone would have given me that advice a few years ago.

Your website is nice. The names on it are worth little as they sit now, undeveloped. Draw&Prize and My&Cabby are about the only names that have two words that fit consecutively. The use of the Oly rings is a bigtime trademark infringement. The name that has the word olympic in it is a clear TM violation. The last line on your site goes as far as to suggest you've copyrighted the olympic name and symbols.

Exxon.. spend millions.. I mean MILLIONS.. to a marketing company, in effort to find the best brandable "unique" name the company could come up with.. Read the history on the EXXON name.. it's quite interesting..

There is a market for "unique names"..

But.. there also is the effort to get this msg. to the "unique" buying audience..

The names alone you say are $10. OK.
In my opinion I believe the names are pretty good and have the potential to give a website a good, memorable impression.

The concepts I imagine the sites to have are probably worth more then the name itself, but the website name and concept go hand in hand. you can have a great concept but shitty name and vice-versa. im not sure if everyone else is aware of it but I beleive there is a new domain name trend emerging.

You are right. Its not all dependant on the name, if you have a brilliant site with a not so great name, it wont matter so much because you will have lots of people linking to you etc.

But unless you have some seriously good stuff for visitors to attract them, a strong domain is needed.

No or very little wholesale value. I can make-up a name just as you did and pay -$8 to get it... that is the problem unless you happen to get lucky and find an end user looking for exactly what you got.
