You have a highly desirable domain name in a big money industry. Look upwards to $3-5k but don't settle for less than $2000.

I would like to thank you all for your valued opinions. RJ, I have taken your advise and I appreciate your capacity for vision. I was offered more than $3,000 earlier today. I decided to reject the offer and move forward with the development of a site. I believe it will be far more profitable to take this direction.

If the domain is worth more to you than what they offered, be sure to submit a counteroffer of a price you would be willing to accept. It could be worth a lot more to them than it is to you, and getting a nice sales price would go a long way towards your own projects -- even if you had to find another domain.

IMO: The golf industry is VERY competitive so if you are not truly going to be dedicated to the site, you might consider selling the name. Too many golf sites vying for too few customers.
