Welcome to the forum!

The header is exellent. Colors are ok, layout is well designed.
I have 2 comments,

First, what about embedding google adsense into borders like other content, intead of seperating them from center content. To be honest, on a first impression I was not aware of the ad placement.

Second and lastly, you might want to reduce the spacing gap in your footer ..the copyright space.
