Going to buy first domain

Hi frinds,
i want to buy my first Domain for domain business so can you advice me witch one i have to buy,actually i am new to this filed and want to start from something good so , i need your help... hope i will get some good response from you guys

My advices is to NOT buy any domains until YOU know which one you should buy. Read as much as you can about buying domain names and you will start to learn which ones may be better to buy than others. You will also learn some things about how to sell domains, which is also not so easy sometimes.

Of course you can start buying domains now and may get lucky with what you buy, but most people start buying domains and later just get rid of them because the ones they could find and buy, no one else wanted.

There is nothing wrong with learning that way, but if you undersand this can happen you may want to save your money until you know more about how this all works. Good Luck!!!

Apart from that you should buy a domain that suits your business. Find appropriate keyword and make search. Also if possible and the name available then for for .com extension.

what's happening npeeps?

i am in the same circumstance as mohan2010. i have been researching ICANN law and third party trademark infringements so i don't step on anyone's toes.

i would sincerely appreciate it if someone could tell me if you could have the same domain name(s) in multiple auctions at once to increase your chances of selling a domain name? or does it have to be one auction at a time with that particular name(s).

woody80: When you have a new question you should start a new thread. Otherwise people may get notifications of new posts on a subject they are not interested in. It can also be seen as "hyjacking" someone's thread.

Most auctions require that you only use one at a time. What would you do if you had two auctions and two auction winners?

It generally IS ok to list the domain for sale on multiple sites.

If you have business name I think that would be great to have domain name with business name inside.

woody80: Under a topic when you see all the threads, there is a button near the top of the page that says, "New Thread".

And NP is a great place, but you WILL encounter some older members that have no patience with beginners. Don't let them get to you and know that most members are friendly and helpful. Every community has it's share of jerks... and there are things you can learn from them.

You could create multiple offer threads on multiple forums, but be sure to check the forums rules first. I have seen people on here reply to a marketplace thread with "I have received an offer of $xxx from forum.com"
