Hey Guys,

Here's a couple "Brandables" I've had for a bit. Just put them up on brandbucket, brandroot & namerific. Waiting on approval.

Any thoughts about these?

GoGuts - Short, Pronounceable & Strong domain name which everyone will remember. Uses: adventure travel, adrenaline/extreme sports (surfing, kiteboarding, downhill bmx, base jumping etc..), or for new start-ups (name/slogan).

GabGator - an awesome name for a new Smartphone App, Chat/Hangout Website, or even Baby/Kids toys, books or learn to read program. It's very easy to pronounce and remember as well as having a strong brand image in everyone's minds.

MyChilla - A pretty "cool" name for: Air Conditioning, a new smartphone app, chat/hangout website (chillin with friends), beverage or a dating/affair website (chilla = “mistress” in spanish)

I just sent out about 10 emails to some random people I found on Google to see if they're interested in GoGuts. Looks like 2 of them are. They're saying they're "very interested" and asking "how much".

What do you guys think I should tell them? I don't want to scare them away by tossing a figure at them that they are not expecting...but I don't want to sell myself short either.

So you got a 20% response rate on unsolicited emails.... I been doing this a long time and the best I've reached is maybe 2%.. I have to call BS on this one....

But, the names are brandables, but reg fee in current state imo...

So because I was lucky to get replies back right away after just starting the manual research and outreach process, you call BS? You're saying they're worth reg fee then? I think I'll go a bit higher for a reply back to them. Thanks for the appraisal though, IceDude

Oh btw, how do you normally do your replies to interested parties? When they say they're interested and ask how much.. do you reply right away with a figure or do you reply asking what their budget range is? Or even just get back to them with a higher figure, knowing they will counter?

haha I just had to come back on here IceDude, the second the 20% shot up to 30% response rate. All this in just ~40min or so of research and outreach.

Even though you probably (now more so then ever) think it's BS, this is known as a helpful community so I do hope you can just "pretend to believe me" and offer some helpful advice on what to say to these people, how to respond etc.
