Just picked up GoFindHotels.net and GoFindHotels.us what do you guys think. The other day I saw GoFindHotels.com go for $2,000 so I figure these have to be worth something.

even if you develop the site, and advertise, a good chunk of that traffic and goodwill will trickle toward the .COM. On the other hand if the .com is built out, and has alot of traffic it could come your way as well. I would say the .net is worth 20% of the .COM. I would say $400. Obviously the FindHotels.com /net is the key term, this is the watered down version with GO added to it...
Yeah, I saw it to on Sedo too. Nice name with development potential. It is likely you will loose the traffic to GoFindHotels.com if you try to develop the .NET version. I don't see any value in it from the reseller point of view either. However, you can approach the new owner of the domain with an offer to buy .net and .us versions. You will likely get a low xx for the pair if even that. Good luck.
In my opinion the names aren't worth much.
You could devolope the .net, but that would ask a lot of marketing for its not a logical combination of words. Without marketing it won't generate traffic.
You should also be carefull with investing in the .us market. The market is quite small and it's hard to make you're sales. When you're new to the business I would recommend you to look at names posted on Namepros so you can create a feeling for the value's of different kind of domains and tld's. You could also use estibot.com to check out the estimated value of you're domains. Don't base you're decissions purely on estibot though.
Hope to have helped you with my first appraisal comment .
Nobody would pay you $400 for a Brandable 3-worder in .NET. You can expect that kind of payout only if you happen to own a killer category keyword in .net version. Something like: ElectricScooters.net or ElectricWheelchairs.net
