GoDaddy's website tonight?

Is it possible to build a somewhat professional looking site with this? And how well does their seo work?

I'm new to this developing and would like to get dreamweaver eventually but not just yet. I'm hoping this would work for a decent site about my township and entertainment stuff, news links, maybe a small forum who knows.

I was in your situation a few months ago. I first purchased website tonight, for 2 years deluxe for 200 some dollars, I believe. You have a very limited choice for templates and they are all very simple and ugly. You can just download free templates that are much more professional looking in other websites. I highly recommend NOT choosing Website tonight - waste of money. Get dream weaver and spend 50 bucks for a decent template. If you don't want to spend money on templates, Deviantart.com has some users who post up very nice free templates for download.

Also, I highly recommend googling "web design templates", and there are many websites that show up that offer their services for free.

Best of luck. Keep in mind, it's hard to get a refund from GoDaddy, a huge headache. Would require 3-4 phonecalls.
