GoDaddy updated date WhoIs

Hi,

I have this problem with a lot of my domains which I registered with GoDaddy. For example, I registered several domains in January and know they have an updated date, most of them in March (different for every domain) showing in WhoIs and clientDeleteProhibited, clientRenewProhibited, clientTransferProhibited , clientUpdateProhibited messages.

Weird thing is that I didn't do anything with these names, I have listed them a GoDaddy, SEDO and Afternic (listed and relisted at different dates) but does this trigger an updated date? It's very annoying because I think I am not able right now to transfer any domains to another registrar. I guess only possibility is push to another GoDaddy account. Is this some kind of trick of GoDaddy to keep domains with them and trigger a transfer lock for no reason or am I missing something?

Is it maybe possible nameservers changed because I listed it at some selling platforms? Does a change in nameservers triggers the 'updated date' and does this trigger the 60 days transfer lock?

Only change in contacts triggers whois update. GoDaddy does not do tricks, otherwise we would all know. The situation that you describe is inexplicable. Maybe ask GoDaddy support or Joe Styler.

UPD: I believe the most probable reason is that you updated whois contacts for all your domains, while thinking you update it for one domain only. There is a box ("select all") that you tick by mistake.

I didn't update any contact for a single domain. I think I may changed dns which trigger whois update, but doesn't trigger a 60 days transfer lock.
