Does anyone know how to change the session time for Godaddy?

If I dont stay active on GD I get timed out within 5 minutes.

I have changed browsers, updated browsers and I still get timed out.

Its really aggravating, appreciate any help.
Thanks :)

Generally the site admin controls the session duration. At Godaddy, I usally receive a warning if the session is about to expire, along with a choice to continue the session.

That's only on some pages like search.
I never see that on auctions and I jump around from page to page from GD to many other pages and I miss that warning but it still shouldn't be so short of time.

Thanks but you only receive that warning on the domain search page and not on the auction pages or whois search page.
And besides that the warning is about 3 minutes or so if I am on another pager for about 10 minutes or so and not look back in time at the search page I will get timeed out and it Sucks.

I dont want to settle for a 3 minute warning and be lucky enough to see it.
I want to be logged in all day if I want just like I am here on NP.

So does getting timed out bother anyone else?
I have been timed out at least 6 times today already.
If anyone from GD is reading this I would like to recommend changing the default session to at least 1 hour or more.

My rep once told me that it's done for security reasons.

It IS a pain, but I would rather be inconvenienced as opposed to being hacked.

It you find it a nuisance, trying getting in touch with support. Maybe it can be changed to a longer default.

Thanks Ms :)

I would like to see a choice be added to settings, something like
10 minutes (defualt)
20 minutes
30 minutes
60 minutes

That would be cool.

Maybe Auto-Refresh add-on in Firefox
will work for you.

I agree with Ms Domainer, I too find it a pain, but I'd rather have it in place than not. A time setting would be a nice feature.

Unlike someother sites, that never log you out, even if you come back hours later.

I agree, but so far my experience with GD's session time is about 10 minutes and that for me is way, way to short to the point its really aggravating.
I'll spend 10 minutes elsewhere like here on NP then I go back to GD to check my auctions and I am timed out again and have to reload the page then sign back in and reload again to get back to my auction page.
Annoying.

A few choice's like up to an hour would be nice :)
