it wasnt on renewals but it was on .us, dont understand why they differentiate between the two

you might try to buy some non domain things to get the $1.99 pricing, i think that works on renewals

I've spent 2 hrs trying to find a renewal code that works for .us. On my checkout page, i see this - **Please note, additional promotional discounts do not apply to renewal products, discounted or bulk domain names.

Does this mean, godaddy does not provide discount for .us renewals?
