GoDaddy had a big day today announcing their latest initiative GoDaddy Websites + Marketing. Interestingly websitesplusmarketing.com has been regged since 2013 by someone else. With Websites + Marketing, GoDaddy introduces GoDaddy InSight, a smart technology that delivers tailored guidance, helping entrepreneurs answer the question "what should I do next" to achieve their goals. GoDaddy … [Read more...]

Any player that has been sponsored by GoDaddy on the Toronoto Raptors would go on to have such a poor season that it become known as the "GoDaddy Curse" among fans. No lie, basketball fans in Canada have an even worse opinion of GoDaddy than some domainers.

Ayesha was born in Toronto, Steph lived there for years while his dad played for the Raptors.

Maybe this means the GoDaddy Curse has officially been lifted and will now move to the Warriors.

Mind you, it seems like the curse already hit the Warriors a few months early, not that I'm superstitious or anything.

    Thanks for information.

Interesting they did not get the domain name to match their campaign. Had they changed it to the singular WebsitePlusMarketing is available to hand register even now today.

I think the idea of using data analytics is good, but it will all depend on how it is implemented whether it catches on.

The use of influencers and the tone of the 'event' possibly is a reflection of changes under the new CEO, although they have used influencers a fair amount in the past, as @Peak.Domains indicated.

Yeah websitesplusmarketing.com regged since 2013, they could get the singular version, but now that you mentioned it I give it 20 minutes tops.

Yeah, I admit, I thought of taking it but was too lazy to see if it was somehow TM protected and trying hard to not pick up domain names unless they really match what I want to specialize in.

Following up on my previous comment here about the "GoDaddy Curse" because it was recently announced that GoDaddy is listening to the Toronto Raptors fans who have been begging and pleading with them not to sponsor anyone on the team, and it looks like GoDaddy opted to sponsor a retired player this season instead: https://www.thestar.com/sports/rapt...es-will-be-the-focus-of-godaddy-campaign.html

To anyone who says that it doesn't seem like GoDaddy listens, this should inspire some hope :)
