Anyone selling DDC account? Cant seem to get a discount using weak currency at all, unless I'm doing something wrong it just converts to same amount.

You need to pay in that currency from your bank, credit card, paypal, and let them do the conversion rate to your currency. You can get the approx value by taking the price quoted and dividing it by the bank rate for that day.

I haven't tried it but you could try using the Turkish currency since it is weak and been going thru a round of devaluations, which possibly have not worked their way thru to Godaddy List Prices yet.

You buy in a weak currency, like Turkey's or most of South America's currencies, and when you convert it to $ at the prevailing bank rate, it will be a lot cheaper than the actual $ price.

Which currency did you use? Can you share please? When I change to other currencies like INR or Turkey's TL, it shows the same amount when I use google to convert to USD. Am I missing anything?

I used Pakistani rupees, but maybe they've stopped the trick from working?

I used one of the south american currencies. I don't recall which one. And when looking at the GoDaddy history they don't tell you anything. If you are converting from a foreign currency into US$ and that figure is approximately the same as the amount you would pay in US$, it sounds to me like they have figured out how not to have a fixed exchange rate in their pricing. But I would try a few more currencies before drawing a definite conclusion on that.

Has anyone else tried this trick of buying in a week currency, and found out that it doesn't work anymore?
