You are dancing on glass my friend. Creating a bunch of account just to use codes is a violation of GD policies and will get your accounts and domains canceled. Read the post below about what happened to 1 of our members over the last week. 2 accounts is fine but when you go to extremes GD will give you a PITA.

Just make sure that each account has a valid email address, different credit card for each account and you have legal ID for each account / user that you create. GD has really been cracking down lately.


Yes, most of the codes work on existing accounts. Most people here have only 1 or maybe 2 and use many all the time. The usual rule is that all of their codes will work once for an account but there are some that are grouped so if you use one fro a certain group then you can't use any other similar code from that group. An example (not real codes) would be if you used MYDN01 then you couldn't use MYDN02, and so on. There are exceptions but these are loose guides.

The codes work well on existing accounts - but sometimes I have to try 10 promo codes before I find one that works.

Can you please tell me the best coupon for new GTLD registrations?
Is there a generic one or we must look for something specific?

For gTLD's the best coupon can only be a percentage one. There are few posted here for 20%, 25% and 35% off. And if none work maybe a WOW coupon will. Whenever I had trouble using a percentage coupon the WOW ones were handy and gave the 30%-35% off.

30% off the DDC is actually not bad at all. Many people are having a hard time find one that will work for that much.

75$ to renew just 3 domains with privacy is kinda ridiculous.

GoDaddy hasn't put out any renewal codes in quite a while. The only thing that works sometimes are the codes that take a certain amount of $ off or a % off. They have been stingy on the renewal codes. They are pushing for people to buy their DDC.

The codes are usually the 1st domain at the code sale price ($.99 , $1.99 , etc...) then the rest at $9.99 each. You can use the % off codes or the $ off of a certain amount spent.

The only ones that work on higher quantity purchases are those. The $6 for 5 domains is not their normal practice to get anything less than $8.

There are a bunch of $7.99 codes still active for transfers or new registrations, but only work on .com's only. Afaik those codes can be used on multiple domains like 3 or 5 domains at discounted price... Just search around the posts here for codes that have "799" in their name as they are the ones like this.

Trying to use a few of these promo codes towards the purchase of a closeout domain, but none are working. Anybody have any up to date ones that can be used for Closeouts?
