GoDaddy Delete Feature

Godaddy has this new feature that lets you delete your domain before it expires. I did not know what it was so I tired to delete one of my good domains. Well what do you know the domain is no longer in my account so I finally know what it does. What an idiot! I emailed GoDaddy to see if they can bring it back to life. Any input guys?

Yea if you go to the update billing/credit card info, there is a new feature that I thought meant to delete the credit card used to renew/transfer that particular domain. That is what i remember it being for before the new gui. I thought it would delete the stored credit card so that godaddy couldnt charge me for things that I have been hearing about in these forums but oh no! DONT DO IT! Your domain will be wiped out. GoDaddy hasnt responded to my email yet and I am pretty sure I will be able to recover it.

Its gone. go reregister it before someone else does. and next time to test anything use a crap thing..wether domains or shirts or even kids (j/p)

Is it available to reg currently?

I am sure if it hasnt been re-regged GoDaddy will get it back for you, they implemented a new system/interface so things like this are bound to happen.

No it actually hasnt dropped or deleted yet.

Definitely go with the cruddy domains "for testing purposes" next time, Delete. Pretty sure to get it back is not positively guaranteed. :p
