What they need to bring back are renewal codes because the fear shouldnt be JUST registering but those of us with many hundreds of names all transferring out for better renewal costs.

You cant be more than right, they are trying to pigeon hole us into having to buy the ddc, however most, like myself, have accounts at other registrars and have no problem transferring a domain i regged at godaddy for $1.99 to another registrar, especially if that registrar is offering 1 year renewal free can always go back to godaddy later. Not sure why they decided to shake things up and get rid of the renewal codes, gonna cost them lots of money in the long run I apologize for the statement about there not being any $0.99 codes available right now, i was just unaware as there hadn't been any available for quite some time.

can you tell us how to do that? which other registrar are you using? expiration date of my domains is tomorrow (07.07.2014), can I transfer all my 41 domains to another registrar today? if yes, what would its cost be? please help, thanks!
