I have been considering the godaddy reseller package, but I was wondering if, on the backorders if these are unlimited exchange?, or do you lose your money if they do not catch the name?

Any help would be appreciated.

What is NameChef?

NameChef is my resseller account with GoDaddy/WildWest domains. WildWest is a sister company of GoDaddy You can puurchase your own reseller account from WildWest for $99 usd/yr

What happens to any names I register or services I'm subscribed to if you do not renew your NameChef account?

I certainly have every intention of sustaining NameChef as a business, however if any WildWest reseller does not renew their yearly reseller agreement, all names and services are transfered by WildWest to a generic WW account. You keep the same login/password.

EDIT: I just realized you can buy the same service from NamePros for 800$NP (look in rewards store)so either way you're good to go.

I have backordered a domain with godaddy, it is registered to godaddy. Do they release it to me ? No.

When you backorder you pay upfront.... good for one year ...did your backorder expire prior to the name being caught??

If your name doesn't snap on godaddy, you get a credit to use it later. I've snapped two names out of 5 so far, and I have one more, but it will be another month or so before it's at that point.

I had one godaddy backorder a while back on a name I really wanted (as well as on pool, namewinner, dropwizard). I exchanged a bunch of names before it finally caught one, and it's limited to com/net/org I think. I'll use it as a backup solution, but never as primary. Pool and Namewinner seem to whip almost every time.
