Gmail Phising

In the past couple of weeks, I have received several emails offers to upgrade gmail account to 2GB and free domain registrations.

All the emails came from this site:

http://www.gmail-accounts.com

Please be carefull and do not click the link or login.

Check whois and the name is registered with RegisterFly by someone from New Jersey.

The domain was regsistered a couple of days ago (4/17/05)

Scam artists are everywhere!

I have heard of http://www.gmail-account.com. They take your user and pass. Here is what I did.

User: You_Are_Being_Reported
Pass: To_Google_You_Stupid_Fu<k :hehe:

Many people use the same or similar usernames and passwords combinations. A simple program will probably fetch close to the numbers you suggest pratiknaik.

The "-" hyphen appears to be a popular name form for phishing scammers. For one thing, the name availability is there.
ie ABCo-Account/ ABCoAccountLog-in/ ABCo-Security / ABCo-Service / ABCoService-Dept / CustomerService-ABCo / etc

Might also be popular because the character seperates words following the same pattern of "/" for a sub-directory path or "." for 3LD or sub-domain. (In theory, anyways.)
