Gigilo services (Male escorts) is huge in legal counties of the united states that allow such services. It's a very deep-pocketed business niche in the adult industry. While it may not be as valuable as the .com (Which is just a parked page now), it still has value, in my opinion.

It also appears to be a popular term in India people are searching for, however, there really aren't any well known/established clubs there yet. ("Yet").

The hyphenated .com is developed: gigolo-services.com - (Since 2009) - Dutch/German

It may not be worth as much in those regions of buyers/developers, however, it seems to show that the term is sought after in countries other than the U.S.A as well.

2010 to 2012 sales of domains with the word gigolo were in the range of $500 to $10k back then for various word combinations.

Not a real promising trend.

You have very valid points and I think for the majority, this domain is a very hard sell, resulting in low value. In an ideal situation where the presentation is executed efficiently to the right niche buyer, I think value can be sustained.

It's definitely not a domain one should invest into unless they have a solid grasp on the market coupled with excellent sales presentation and closing skills.

A lot of similar domains are available, like gigoloservices.org or gigoloservices.co. So to sell gigolo dot services at a reasonable price, one would have to buy other good domains as well.

Unfortunately, gigolo's/male escorts is not a non-profit organization and one would have to check Columbia (.co) ccTLD to see if they use that term at all there. Otherwise, neither of those extensions would be a good fit for the term.
