I am only 14 and the only way I can pay for hosting or domains is by checks. I was wondering if any of the major domain registrars offered gift cards this way I can send one payment and be able to have however much I want to be able to spend over time. Thanks for your help!

Mastercard or Visa debit cards can usually be used anywhere a credit card can, and don't ususaly require credit checks since they only access money in your checking account.

Some hosts and registrars also take paypal, which can be direct transferred from bank accounts.

Yeah I wouldnt feel right asking my parents to use something like that over the internet because it can erase their whole account if someone hacks it.

Well what about going to like a 7-11 or cumberland farms store and getting one of those reload Pre Paid mastercards. Im pretty sure there is no miminum age and you can use it for online purchases.

Hmm I looked on 7-11's website and they offer prepaid cards for phones and money orders but no prepaid mastercards but thanks for telling me about this because maybe I can find it somewhere else.

I think GoDaddy had gift card for the holidays. Think being the key word.

You could try looking around on google also.

Yet again, under 18 you're limited, for good reason.

But this is what you're looking for:
http://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/prepayment/landing.asp

Go down to the "good as gold" option (Stay away from paypal) and you can set up a pre-paid account with godaddy.

Enjoy!

Be careful about just getting a paypal account if you are not going to put a bank account or credit card number with it. They have a limit on how much can be received and if you go beyond that limit and don't have credentials, they will freeze the account and you'll have trouble getting the money. It's happened. Your best bet is the gift card or the prepaid mastercard or NP$ to a member to register and push you the domain.

No I like paypal but since I am 14 my parents wont let me get it at least not right now but I am trying to convince them that I could make a big profit if I had a way to accept money.

Godaddy's GoodAsGold requires a $100 minimum deposit to get started though. He might not have the money...

I sugget getting a eNom account and mailing in you check or money order. With the prepaid cards I think they ask you to acknowledge you are over the age of 18 on signup.
