Hi there, well, maybe im lucky im not so sure, but these days i have far too much spare time on my hands

I have a few domains, that are not great, but are decent-ish, and are geared in areas such as website design, technology and a few other areas.

I'm wondering what would be the best way to "develop" these domains. Should i just build up a site for e.g. the web design company as if it were a real company? Then build up pr after the next google update and get all the pages indexed etc, with a company logo and a full site someone can just "move in on"?

Is that the best way of going about trying to make an increase in profit, or should i say "developing the domain"?

THanks for your time

Also, if theres any good articles you want to point in my direction, hit me with them hard :hehe:

Thanks again, take care :)

Hi Project,

Just my opinion ....

Unless you are willing to put in a lot of time and effort ( especially if you are aiming at the IT crowd ) then I would not go for a full site, I think you are better off just designing something to build up the visitors, as long as they are relevant to the subject matter. That way the buyer can make the most of the traffic without having to use the same 'brand' you built up.

If you want to do the full site version then remember that the potential buyer will be looking at what the 'conversion' rate is ... IE those willing to change from what you provided to what the new owner is providing.

Go for something unique, but nothing that will discourage future buyers.

Hope that helps.

All the best.

Richard
