Getting Started

I'm not only new to this site, but to the whole domain buying/selling idea (but I'm a quick learner.) I don't currently own any domains (though I do have limited html knowledge and 100MB hosting through the university I attend), and don't have a ton of money to initially invest into this venture. Ideally, I would like to invest a small starting amount, get a small amount back, and reinvest that, and so on, growing gradually in experience as I go. I get the general ideas of parking, buying, selling, associate programs, and such, but am not really sure which area would be a good place to start and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, would there be any way for me to make money off the free 100MB hosting I have, or would that even be worth it?
