what is your opinion, is getnewyorktickets dot com worth anything?

I would say no value.

The name is long and I can't imagine anyone typing "get newyork tickets" into a browser, maybe "buy tickets newyork". You could develop it with links to some flights, tours, other bookings. The proof will be in the traffic, if it earns enough to pay for itself then keep it.

I doubt you will get a large offer for this one...sorry.

Thank you for your view. I think the name is a bit too long. And it makes sense what you say about serching for "get new york tickets".
I got this domain to make an eBay store out of it (specialized in New York event tickets). But I had trouble making the BANS system work (could not tell for sure if it was a problem with my former registrar (globat).

Recentlty I transfered another domain to bluehost, and decided to do the same with this one. Only now I decided to try and sell it. Reading about domaining, I got interested in this business.

One of the first, most obvious things I learned reading the posts on NP is that if I want to have some profit, I should get the most cheap domain registry - and both globat and bluehost are expensive. (so with this domain if I just didn't lose money it would be acceptable )
