Thoughts? No real expectations - first acquisition. Intuition says it's worth low $xxx max. Closest comp is "getmydegree.com," which sold for $2,600 in 2013, but older domain and other TLDs taken unlike this one. Also a wider user base for that DN. Possible it's not worth reg-fee, but at this point I think it's worth more than that. Would like other thoughts due to my inexperience. Thanks.

If I were you I would do one of a few things, possibly all of them!

If you know anything about higher education, it is big business. If you can develop a page with motivations to get that phd, I would start with that.
I would also link several top schools with varying degree options.
I would put a HUGE emphasis on the financing options for phd students . . . which do vary from school to school . . . but you could still put options out there . . . possibly linking some financial institutions as well.
I would reach out to for profit universities . . . online schools . . . traditional schools . . . and try to sell them the domain. I think if you have some traffic before reaching out, it might aid your cause.

'your' or 'a' would be the version

Really need to be in the vernacular of institution

Plus you can't compare it to 'degree' domains because PhD.s are not handed out like candy like the made for internet money grab degrees.

Would be a great blog site about a person's struggles to get a Phd.
