OK so lately I'm seeing a good number of NPs old timers getting pinned for a sixth time. Those members must be tired of carrying all those stars. That's a lot of brass on the chest.
So I thought it time for a place they, the old timers, could go to rest, relax, get away from the crowd. Maybe refill their oxygen tanks and generally get a recharge. They can set those heavy stars down and take a nap even.
We'll keep it quiet in here. Keep the lights low, play Lawrence welk and add a bubble machine for dance night. They can have friends and relatives come visit and bring yummies like punch and cupcakes. We've
put air fresheners in here to remove that orthopedic shoes smell. We even have an on site crash unit incase they get too excited on polka night. There are xtra reading glasses laying around and all the TV remotes have huge numbers on them.
But seriously folks ....
Congrats all you "old timers" and thank you for paving the way. Working out the system and pushing the envelope corners to the max. We really do owe a great deal to those of you that helped to pioneer our industry. You took risks and speculated long before some of us even understood the power in domaining. I look up to many of you and envy your accomplishments. I'l like to emulate you and some day carry the same clout many of you do. I'd like to learn from you and take to heart the lessons of "good" domainers. To be able to help younger domainers follow the smart path. Yea ..... I would like that.
To sum it up .... if at all possible at this stage, I would say Thank "you". A whole hearted "Thank You". I know we joke and play around at times but I'd like it known I have much respect for my senior NPs members....
