Been developed for a while now, traffic is on the up and currently page 1 on Google for search- geography info

What value would you put on it today?

My best guess is 2.5k to 4k+ enduser.

<half reseller price.

I'm basing that on the search stats and the potential to rank higher on the main keyword. I wouldn't bother or care about ranking for "geography info". It's not a well searched term.

The keyword also has very low CPC which limits its monetization.

Potential buyers might be National Geographic, Association of American Geographers (aag dot org),Royal Geographic Society(rgs dot org) etc. Plenty of potential as nearly every State,Canadian province,Country has a similar organization. Try and invite them all to an auction.

Down to perception I suppose. Everybody has their own idea of the value of a domain and it's very rarely the same particularly on an appraisal thread when perceived values are generally much less than a final price.

In the final analysis it comes down to what a motivated buyer will pay and that as nothing to do with appraisals.As I said, a few interested parties in the low $xx,xxx but nothing tempting as yet, an appraisal thread is simply another means of exposure.
