I'm just thinking about geo domain such this, Genova is a city in Italy but using ext .in (which is India ccTLD). Is this name have value ? Please expert in this forum I need your input.
Thanks anyway
But all other ccTLD aren't available for genova, and estibot appraise USD 3,200 for it. How can it be explained ?Honestly reg fee.
Genova is in Italy.
.in is for India.
It makes no sense.

Geneva is not in India, bad extension, value = $0
Geneva is not in India, bad extension, value = $0
Dude, you got'em confusedGenova, not Geneva (Geneva (Arpitan: Genèva, IPA: [ˈd͡zənɛva]; French: Genève, IPA: [ʒənɛv]; German: Genf, IPA: [ˈɡɛnf] ( listen); Italian: Ginevra; Romansh: Genevra)
Different city, same extension
If estibot is useless, so what does it for ?
Automated appraisal. I do use it at times...not for appraisal though but for other quick handy reference prior to making quick purchases(...)
This domain was appraised USD 3,200 by estibot, but this forum appraise it zero, I'm very confused.
Cuz bots dont think like humans doand we hope they will someday!
It's appraising high for a couple other metrics(purely technical though)
1) most other extensions for the domain are taken
2) lots of searches
BUT it doesn't take into consideration the compatibility between the extension and the keyword in question. If it was calcutta.in (or "kolkata" sorry!) or mumbai.in...my fellow domainers would give you much happier feedbacks. Else...if the domain was genova.it...you could probably sell it for $3000
Lets put it this way...if your domain was usa.in...the domainers here would value it more cuz usa is not only the United States but it's premium lll domain and can be developed into other acronyms.
Genova = in Italy...the possibilites of expansion on this name are limited, unless there's a big company (or restaurant as someone else previously mentioned) in India that uses the name.
