For some reason I like this domain.

The .nl seems semi developed and...
there is even a developed forum http://www.generalforum.com.tr.tc/ (currently down).

The keyword here is "general", generalforum is not necessary too general, it specifically targets the highest ranked army officer -- General. There are so many fans for each and every famous general. Generalforum.com can be developed into a forum for these general fans. There are many popular war forums, but I haven't seen a "general" forum around.

I won't buy it, but it potentially worth $xxxx to an end-user who is planning to set up a general forum.

I wasnt sure if i should add this, because I dont want anyone to think that I do not value their opinions, but I thought I'd share some history for this particular domain.

in the last 6 months, i have turned down 4 offers in the $350-400 range.
2 months after regging it, I get an offer for $550, which I also turned down.

the domain was bought in an auction for a not too low price with lots of bidders.

all I am trying to say is that a lot of times, appraisals can be misleading and are very subjective.
I hope i have not offended anyone, as that is not my intention.
I just wanted to give an example.
