I like it. I'd put it well into the $xxxx range to the right end-user.
I personally don't think "general" makes it too generic, quite the opposite actually. The "G" rating on movies literally stands for "general audiences" or "general audience." The plural is more commonly used, but for the domain, I think the singular sounds better. Used as such, the domain is specifically characterizing the content on the site using the well-known and establishing rating nomenclature.
Looking at .com sales of ...fuel ($530), ...net ($1,000), app... ($2,300), ...pro ($3,288), ...report ($2,500), ...media ($2,088), ...development ($2,500) and ...exchange ($2,288), this domain easily stands with or above those, IMHO.
