Just picked this one up here on NP. I love the name, but I'm looking for some opinions on value. I'm trying to decide if i want to develop it or not.

first person shooters, MMORPG games would ask for a site like this. general gaming forum, etc. there are a ton of forums out there catering to the player community, thus your challenge is to offer something that the other site/forums don't have.

as a stand alone domain: low $xx due to the fact that the name alone doesn't tell me anything about the content other than its gaming related, which is a good start, just not enough to yield a higher number just yet.

Great Name for a gamer community site.
I agree, you have to develop this one to realize its true value.
You may be able to get $100 for it as is though.

Well back when I had originally decided to create a gaming site, this was one of the first names I thought of, but unfortunately it was regged. Then I saw it for sale on here and picked it up It's extremely difficult to find a good Game*.com domain though and I noticed GameSquad.com sold on BuyDomains for $2300. Obviously I'm not expecting that, but it just goes to show what someone is willing to pay for a good gaming domain.

If I do decide to develop it, I will probably focus it on FPS and general violent type games to keep with the name... It is very hard to establish a site in this area though because there are so many gaming sites. Thats why I'd prefer to sell it if I can get a decent offer.

I still think it is an awsome name, and them more i think about it, the more i like it. I dont know how hard it is to find a good game name in the com tld so maybe you've got something more valuable.

Just hope for a game called "carnage" to come out soon.
