Well, now I am taking a gamble on these 2 .cn domain names:

NotebookComputer.cn Overture/ 1,983,521 for "Notebook Computer" Dec 2004

MP3Download.cn Overture/ 3,673,203 for "MP3 Download" Dec 2004

So, comments on .cn domain ext, and appraisals please!!!

Thanks

Frank :p

I love the ideas, jury is out on .cn however.
The keywords are without a doubt great, and I think they've got great potential... but as you said, it is a gamble on the extension.

Agreed. Although tempted by some of the great keywords that I've run across, I've only regged 1 .cn domain as a (very) small hedge should the cctld take off. There are language, as well as, marketing issues to be considered, that I have only seen projections about, but no evidence that is hard enough nudge me off the fence. One prediction that I find astounding, is that China will have the #1 economy in the world by 2020.

IMO, both of your names would be up near the top of the list when I think about site content that would be attractive to Chinese users

I agree with you both. I won't go nuts regging .cns, even if the keywords are great. But it a good gamble to reg a few. By the speaking of gambling, I went to a local casino, Table Mountain, on Friday night at 10pm. I took $125, left my one atm/debit card home. In about 1 1/2 hours I hit 2 $300 jackpots on the same $1 slot machine, was talking to a gal , and hit another machine for $500, and then another for $100. I put a $1,000 in my wallet, and I just happen to have $125 left!!! So, I told myself, ok, you can blow the $125, but you are going home with a $1000. I did!!!! Bought a 13 inch lcd flat screen to set next to my computer, a leather desk chair, and more!!!! Iยด on a roll!!!
