Personally I think it's too deep a niche. I can envision a website using "funny animals" or even "funny dogs" for videos stories forum whatever, but "funny pug" is limited. Also in this case arguably the plural would have been better.
For a niche about funny pugs, there are many alternatives that can be bought for cheap or even reg, replacing the word "funny" with many choices, and likely better replacements for "pug" to encapsulate the varied niches of the website, not just limited to pugs.
You might be lucky and get a sale for low $$$ or $$ to a hobbyist or someone wanting to redirect, but I do think a sale is unlikely.
