Fully developed site making $900/mo - value? *UPDATED*

Hi guys,

Thought I'd bump this up again to see what you think.

We've been growing steadily by around 2,000 uniques / day, we're now getting just under 14,000 uniques a day, making $30 (approx) off adsense per day and have around 2,600 members.

If you're wondering why we're not making double the old $20/mo, it's because we took away the popups and the loud ads. :)

Only expenses are the domain (@godaddy) and Server ($110/mo).

Thanks.

$9000?

How do you figure that a site is worth 18 months potential revenue?

I would say around 5000-6000$. Depends on who wants to buy it.

Your site is Worthless
Unless you do 2 things
1/ Lose the POPUps
2/ Lose the SiteTalk
Those 2 factors kill more traffic than they attract income
Then and only then is the Site worth
anything
But even then I find it hard to appraise
Above $xxxx low
Filehosting sites are a dime a dozen now
and the market is shrinking

"SiteTalk"?

Also, the site is getting as much traffic now as it was before the popups, the site's only had popups on for the last day or two and it's had more traffic than before.

So hosting sites are worth nothing either? Even if they're making as an example, $600 a month? Dime a dozen?

low $XXXX, more depending on how long your site has been around and how stable income is

Thanks for the comments guys, once I get my first payout from fastclick I've also decided I'm going to remove the ads. Since they're only making around 25% of profit and could well be turning that much traffic away.

Had 7,000 uniques yesterday, today so far 5,000 so will be 7,000 - 8,000 + again today.

Bullsh!t. Heard of myspace.com? heard of millions of teens not having servers to plop their images.

Huge market for uneducated teens that want image hosting. You supply them with the html code to put on their profile and blam, image hosting. And with over 200,000,000 myspace accounts i think there's a few to live on for a while.

There was even a big rucus about an institution naming a new STD after myspace since it was spread through ppl that met on myspace.

"Uneducated teens" - laughs at the thought

"200,000,000 accounts" - not too sure about that but correct me if I'm wrong!

As for your site, income like that should give a price of about $5,000. I'd sell it and well done!

low-mid $x.xxx with current income

value can go up (or down) depending on growth of revenue/month

More!!

I would say about $100K. But if it is experiencing rapid growth don't sell. Let the web site "settle out." You will gain more from demonstrated growth than from anticipated growth.
