Full UK Postcode Database - The only one

There's only one place to buy this other than from royal mail for £3000, and thats here!

Every uk mainland postcode and it's full lat/long; it's better than google data; the official data; the same data used on sites like multimap and accurate to street level.

$150 paypal a shot; only selling a few copies - and it's the real deal, you won't find it anywhere else.

what can it be used for?

By itself the database is simply used to get the location (lat+long) of any postcode; additionally it can be used to calculate the distance between two postcodes; and also find out all neighbouring postcodes as well as postcodes within X distance. (+ plot position on a map etc)

Coupled with a geo-spatial database it can be used to find the town/city a postcode is in, as well as nearest towns, nearest cities etc.

However, the database is the vital ingredient behind a lot of modern applications, for example cross reference it with a business database and you automatically have a "find my nearest" application; the ability to show all local businesses; (like google local; multimap etc)

This database is for use by developers creating systems or websites for UK audience, particlarly store locators, calculating delivery distances, business directories etc etc.

It's NOT something you can just stick in wordpress and expect to make a site with.

Additionally this data isn't freely available; infact you can only get it from royal mail for higher figures than you care to pay (several thousand gbp)

I didn't get it from royal mail; the data was given to me as part payment on a spatial analysis/gis project for a large mapping company; I asked whether I was allowed to resell the data and was told I could pass on 10 copies as long as the data wasn't passed on further; meaning only people left; 1 of which is reserved - so only 2

This isn't anything like what Royal Mail provide. They provide a list of postcodes with all the roads and house numbers under them. This database is downloadable all over the net. I know because I recently used it in a clients website

I suggest you contact whoever gave it to you as payment as they shouldn't have done.
