Yeh, the key to this is being British. "fry up" is a common term for a fried breakfast, popular in the UK. Thinking about using it myself for a site in connection with the food business (don't want to say too much!).
For me, the name is perfect. I have had fryup.me for a while, thinking I would never get the .com or .co.uk. fryup.co.uk was registered until recently. I got it the other day when I just happened to notice it was deleted. Hand registered it.
Being in the UK it's the perfect name for me and I was delighted to get it. So certainly great value in it for me.
