Sorry, Charles, but I'm not really seeing much value here. Granted, I'm not British, so perhaps I'm failing to see this from the right perspective. Curious what you had in mind. Recipe site?

Yeh, the key to this is being British. "fry up" is a common term for a fried breakfast, popular in the UK. Thinking about using it myself for a site in connection with the food business (don't want to say too much!).

For me, the name is perfect. I have had fryup.me for a while, thinking I would never get the .com or .co.uk. fryup.co.uk was registered until recently. I got it the other day when I just happened to notice it was deleted. Hand registered it.

Being in the UK it's the perfect name for me and I was delighted to get it. So certainly great value in it for me.

I personally like the rhyme - fry up and I would associate the phrase with something to do with food just as you confirmed. Since you're going to use for your own website, I don't think you're looking for an appraisal exactly..

But depending upon the person, it would be a nice name for some who can make the association( to food.! )

Best wishes for your venture.
