The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

It's a tough one for development; but for value, low popularity in Google however it suits vitamin companies; so you are looking for an end-user. A reseller would just pay near low XX for the name in my opinion.

Indeed. Probably a website or central about vitamin and all its kinds, say..(just example)

Vitamin A.. then describes how it helps body; and where could some one find it.. the side effects of vitamin A deficiency.. which food contains vitamin A.. who sells vitamin A.. etc :)

and so on.. It could be used as a portal for vitamins.

Could also be used as an online store for "fresh vitamins" like those that are totally organic and made with fresh ingredients.

Good luck with the name!

I like this name a lot. Very brandable, IMO.

I'd say keep it. You can find an end user for it.

Reseller prices would be low-mid xx. End user could be low-mid x,xxx

I just got email from a well known website (at least for me, it does).
they want the domain for $30-$40. (without offering appraisal, they only said that they were interested).
what should i do?

hold it or sell it?

Getting the BEST price for domains is a little like playing poker in many respects. You have to be willing to take the risk that your counter offer will "scare off" the buyer and that he will walk away.

If you are willing to take this risk, I would recommend a counter offer that leaves a hint of wiggle room.

For example, you could say, "I was thinking about developing this domain, but for the right price I would consider selling it. If you are really interested, I would consider selling this domain in the $500 range".

Good luck!

I am a real vitamin fanatic, and spend about $10 per day on nutritional supplements. There are a lot of people like me. What that should tell you is that a $30 to $40 offer is a very lowball offer. If you look at the adwords from google, you see search volume at about 20% and adword competition at 20% for the exact phrase "fresh vitamin". That tells you that the site could be monetized. This is a guess on my part, but I would not be surprised to see it monetized at $30/year using a quality monetization service like fabulous.com. I would give you $30 since I monetize a lot of things through fab and could make it pay, but I think you should keep it, or press for a much higher offer. If for some odd reason you feel compelled to sell below monetization pricing, give me a call... but I don't want to steal your domains.
