Sorry, I just never heard the term related to a job position before and I've hired people for around 40 years now.

Sorry, I just never heard the term related to a job position before and I've hired people for around 40 years now.

In certain parts of the world, fresher denotes a person who just completed hi/her education, and is job hunting.
