The only sites popular among Pakistanis are discussion forums (e.g. chowk.com janubaba.com apniisp.com), music sites (e.g. apniisp.com), and sites with word DESI (e.g. ratedesi.com & notorious desibaba.com) in them.
Games are already free in Pakistan. Any gaming CD/DVD can be purchased for less than a dollar, so why visit websites for games.
I wanted to register Desi.pk and it was available, but when I returned from bank after charging my cc it was gone.
Backordered and grabbed DesiSoul.com from expired domains a few days ago; I plan to develop a nice Desi community website.

Thank you for the insight regarding Pakistan. I don't actually plan to try and develop it FOR Pakistani people so much as have the name for easy brandability/memory recall. For example, typing 'freegames' into google returns the following domains as the top 5:
freegames.com, freegames.org, freegames.ws, megagames.com, freegames.ro.

The .ws and .ro extensions are the sort of thing I'm going for. Developed in english, for english-speaking visitors, but with an easy to remember domain name.

Develop it, advertise on pak forums, and you will soon be needing to increase your bandwidth
