A bit inappropriate to post this in a forum that is accessible to minors, dgridley. What if they'd overlooked the blue-on-blue type and signed up!? Plus, promoting smoking (paraphernalia or otherwise) is always bad.

I must admit, considering the number of teens in this forum, and the way "Camel" (in particular) has a proven track record of marketing to kids, some even say using their position in an irresponsible way to influence kids to smoke... it's not a big thrill for me to see anything that promotes them further.

Plus, anything "free" with a "flame" is not a great idea for young people to begin with. :o

Nah, it was just a playful little jab at him (hence the 'kettle black' remark), 'cos yesterday he was the cause -or so it appears anyway- that one of my threads got removed here from the Breakroom section; he deemed it inappropriate that I'd posted it (Something to do with boobs in bikinis & slots & and a naughty word).
Actually, I have done designs for Chesterfield Cigarettes and one of them wound up as a billboard all over the country (Holland, that is) and national magazines etc., and I had/have no problem with that either.

My assumption was a teen wouldn't try to have a lighter or cigarette coupons sent by mail to his home... maybe I'll need to rethink posting these free offers here, eh?

And you're at least partly right.. promoting smoking isn't a good thing. I don't smoke myself but having a lighter has come in handy on numerous occasions (camping, lighting candles, etc). I wasn't promoting smoking per se, just clueing the forum into a deal I'd run across.
