Free wordpress themes

I'm sorry if I've posted in the wrong category. I would like to know where one could get free wordpress themes.

The problem with canned wordpress themes is that everyone knows it well and it probably won't blend with your site. Your best bet is to write your own (I know PHP and it really only took me 2 hrs to learn how to create wordpress themes) or hire someone to do it for you.

I agree and disagree with your post.

First, I disagree with the fact that everyone know's templated wordpress themes well. There are thousands of wordpress themes available on the internet and if you look around carefully, I can gaurantee you will find one that has hardly ever been used.

I agree with your recommendation of hiring someone to create one. WordPress is such a simple program to write templates (themes) for that you can find many unique templates very cheap.

Apexx whats sad than is i can't figure it out haha. I can do IPB, PHPBB skins and PHPNUKE THEMES haha but dang i can't get wordpress yet. Than again i never really tired haha.

Again freeword press themes, they have alot out there, alot of really good ones are at DP just search the forums for "Free WordPress Themes"

True, there are enough out there to hide in the obscurity, but a professional looking site will have the same look throughout, and if you get a pre-made wordpress theme you'll end up designing your site around it, which limits your creative freedom.
