Crontab is used for cronjobs and cronjobs is the ability to run a task at a specified interval like if you wanted to delete your vbulletin logs every day at 7am. PGP/GPG is a free way to encrypt files on a server. No we do not offer SSH access but SSL is a very secure way to encrypt webpages that may transfer sensitive information like credit card numbers. You probably see this alot surfing the internet when you see a lock symbol in your browser when you go on a certain page. Hope that helps!
