I put in all Australian details, so I am assuming it's all good. Hopefully it works!! Thanks for the tip.

Someone posted a live link to this offer on Digg.. not expecting it to last long once Microsoft gets wind it's being promoted so extensively. It's possible they won't honor requests entering from certain links after that. One reason I use a "cut and paste" link in my blog post.

Thanks dave.
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to dgridley again.
Next time around ;)

Any idea about the size of the USB drive?

Yes, how big is the drive?

As the post says, the size is unknown.. in any case, it's free.

I found this posted on FatWallet. The Digg posting came after I posted it to my blog.

I intentionally answered questions incorrectly, but I got the same message like you, guys - that they will deliver the USB drive in 6-8 weeks. So why do they have that quiz there? I'm I missing something?

Most promotional USB drives are either 8mb or 32mb in size in my experience.

I never got my WindowsXP SP2 Cd. I dont trust Microsoft a single bit. I am not sure if they are gonna send it to me.

I signed up for one. At 8mb or 32mb, it's not that great, but at least it's free. Showing up to the Computer Science department at school with something that says Microsoft on it could get me beat up, but how strong are geeks really?

As my post said, the offer is for US only.. I know it lets you enter an international address, but that's no guarantee you'll receive it and probably why you never got the disc either.

Q: How many geeks does it take to lift a piece of paper six inches off a table in a 50 mile per hour wind?

A: They're still calculating.
