I think it should just ask for a username, go to Twitter, grab the username and picture, and post it on the site. This whole "password" deal is what stops me from using services like this. I used one and I actually redid my Twitter account because it was posting information for me.

Well if you have used the site you'll know why it requires a password there are no links to twitter theres a system where you can add 10-50 people at the same time without going to twitter.

If the password thing is an inconvinence then I'm sorry but thats not gonna change, that's just how the system works.

And there's only one default message posted to your twitter which says im using followince thats it.

All passwords are encrypted and stored in the db.

On a side note. The only way I benefit from this is having a strong twitter community so that people may exchange followers with ease.

Good idea Gnet, but you should really consider working around the password issue. This has been brought up countless times in your threads.

Thanks for the support but there is no other way around this, without passwords theres no way to use the API properly, then just anyone can add a twitter account when it doesn't even belong to them and thats not what I want.

I agree with bbrez1, any site that promote twitter should use the Twitter API -oAuthenication method to gain trust among users. PPL just don't trust site that store their password nowaday, especially when there are so many new Twitter follower sites popping up.

I have learned not to ever use any follower site, like this follower train site, that asks for my twitter password.

Why?
because then these types of sites tend to start spamming twitter accounts and adding bots, pornies, scammers, etc.

I'm familiar with the Twitter API and know the passwords must be sent via plain text for it to sign in to twitter. This means your passwords are either not encrypted in the DB or are encoded using a reversible algorithm.[/FONT]
