I need to automatically verify a new members application by verifying their status when they are online, by sending them a 4 digit code to their phone number and asking them to input the code and send it back to me. It doesn't need to be complicated. Does anybody know of any free code which will work?

If you want to use Twilio, you're inevitably going to have to pay--I don't think there's any way around that, especially with the new restrictions that recently went into effect on automated SMS. I assume you're asking for a free script to do it, though, right? What language are you aiming for?

I must say that I hadn't really thought much about the language because this would be my first one of a kind. Any free scripts, there must be a few. I'm flexible.

You don't actually want to read that SMS code and just need an SMS verification system?

Just Google 'Twilio PHP SMS Verification script,' and you'll find many tutorials and scripts for verifying SMS codes.
