Free Push?

I see this phrase a lot when selling domains. I'm wondering if such a thing exists between any of the following:

GoDaddy.com
NameCheap.com
Dotster.com
EV1servers.net

Basically I'm just organizing my own names and wondering if I can move anything around for free. I have domains with all of the above and am looking to move as many together as possible. (For instance I have just one domain with Dotster and sometimes I actually forget about it!) Can I move any of my domains around with these registrars without paying the fee to add another year?

Nope, I'm afraid you'll have to "pull" (and pay the receiving Registrar's one-year registration/renewal fee(s)/per) those domains that are NOT currently residing within the SAME Registrar.

As Jeff said, there is a transfer fee to pay when you transfer to different registers. However, if you just wish to transfer it to a new account within the same register then of course the push is free

Thanks for the replies. I figured that was the case, but I'm not familar with who sells for who and thought maybe by chance at least one was a reseller of someone else and there was a connection to move some stuff around.

We all wondered the very same thing at one time Sometimes it can be VERY confusing. A lot of smaller registers I have known are actually enom resellers.

Maybe one day there will be some sort of partnerships formed that allow this. We'll have to wait and see.

It would be nice. It doesn't really bother me that much. Until it's time for me to make a change to a domain and I run around logging into all of my accounts trying to figure out where I left the stupid thing. I usually make one or two wrong guesses before finding it. :gl:
