Go Daddy 1st
Fabulous 2nd

I had started to shift everything to Fabulous last year but with the Fabulous tiered pricing that was introduced I save too much at Go Daddy to leave them now, I use a handful of others as well but those would be my top 2 picks.

I voted for GoDaddy. I'm voting with my feet also. All my domains should be at GoDaddy by the end of the year. Why? Best Control Panel and Cheap Prices. OK, their TOS is a stickler, but most of the people who fall fowl of their ToS are using GoDaddy for Hosting. We are talking about Registration here. My biggest complaint would be their checkout. They were supposed to be coming out with an express checkout for preferred clients but that never transpired. The express checkout they have is pretty much pointless since it defaults to 2 years.

Next I'd say Name.com and then Fabulous. But even with hundreds of domains at Fabulous, they were not competitive on pricing. Name.com has a superfast checkout. Generally, nothing to complain about with them except I don't like the two lines per domain in you account, if you use their privacy.

IMHO the control panel at godaddy is horrible.

I like namecheap, dynadot, fabulous and moniker, not necessarily in that order. I see godaddy as a necessary evil, I use them as little as possible.

Moniker by far. As soon as I get around to it, my remaining Go Daddy names will be moved to my main Moniker account. I would close the account out but rare purchases seem to be registered there. Also TDNAM purchases are stuck there for at least 2 months.

My favorite is Fabulous, but NameCheap and Moniker are also great.

GoDaddy has always had good customer relations and business ethics. Any problems are quickly resolved from my experience. Will hang with GD for now.

Godaddy by far....superior prices and ROI ;)......I have no need to move to a fly by night company godaddy is here to stay! Customer service 24-7 and an account rep to personally call is very nice ;)

Godaddy for my term of the wild trip we call a life ;)

Moniker.

Because:

(1) keeping all your domains in one registrar implies putting all your eggs in one basket. This means:

(1.1) that registrar better have tight security otherwise all the eggs can be stolen at one go

(1.2) that registrar better be financially sound

(1.3) the renewal and transfer prices better be reasonable

(1.4) the domain extensions better be comprehensive

(1.5) support better be good.

The only registrar that meets all the above criteria to a Grade A rating is Moniker.

The cons are:

(a) this option is price incompetitive

(b) Moniker charges for private whois, url forwarding, email forwarding

(c) Moniker does not offer discount coupons

i have tried every listed registrar other than dotster and not one of them come close to comparing to godaddy in my book
i still have a few names elsewhere but they usually get forgotten and dropped :(

#1 support is a nightmare and most other registrars when needed

I'd say Godaddy. For all the options they provided and awesome 24/7 customer service. I would have said moniker, but since they outsourced their customer support, things are not the same.

enom or namecheap, I'm surprised at the amount of votes for godaddy.
